Second Grade Summer Activities

Whether school is out, or you keep the learning going all year long, summer is a great time to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather. Looking for something fun to do? We have all kinds of crafts and activity ideas. We even have a fair share of recipes. After all, summer is the season of leisurely evenings, barbecues, and social gatherings of all kinds. It's a wonderful time to experiment with new recipes, especially those that help your kid keep cool. Set up a lemonade stand or take a trip to the beach and collect a few shells (but not too many!) to create ocean-inspired artwork. You can even keep up on vocabulary with summer words! Take a look at our summer activities and pick out a few for your second grader.
