In this project students experiment with making music using only glasses of water.

Which music genres have the fastest tempos? The slowest? This experiment determines if there's a relationship between beats per minute in a song and its genre.

This activity challenges students to use computational thinking as they create a sequence of commands that will make a robot move in a pattern related to the sound and rhythm of music.

In this project, waves of vibrations are experimented with using water in glasses.

Learn about sound physics and do a survey experiment to explore the difference between sound and noise in this science project.

Your third grader will delight in learning about sound waves as he observes the different sounds created by tapping on glasses with varying amounts of water.

Teach your child how butter is created by shaking up cream the old-fashioned way.
