Everyone loves a sparkly and wonderful sounding holiday ornament! Use bells and colorful wired tinsel ribbon to create a simple and elegant ornament with your child to decorate your own tree or give as seasonal gifts!
What You Need:
- Wired tinsel ribbon
- Tape
- Jingle bells
- Scissors
What You Do:
- Cut a length of ribbon for your child that's 12 inches long.
- Help her get started by wrapping one end of the length of ribbon with tape so that it has a pointed end.
- Have her begin threading the jingle bells onto the wire ribbon.
- Encourage her to continue threading the bells until she has about 20 jingle bells on her wire tightly threaded.
- Now she can bend the wire to create a circle of jingle bells along with twisting a loop at the top for hanging the ornament.
- Hang the finished ornament on the holiday tree or give it as a gift to a special friend or relative.
These jingle bell decorations can be made to look so many ways using different ribbon and colors, have fun making up your own jingle theme!
