Paper Octopus

What You Do:

1. Use a pencil to mark out eight arms that are evenly spaced around the top half of the paper roll.
2. Take out your scissors and cut along the lines. Each octopus arm should go no further than halfway up the full length of the paper roll. When you're finished, you should have 8 sections representing the 8 arms.
3. Round the tips of each arm with your scissors.
4. Paint the entire octopus purple and then set it aside to dry.
5. Gently wrap each arm, one at a time, around a pencil to help give a soft upward curl. This will help your octopus stand on its own.
6. Glue on two wiggle eyes to give your octopus a fun personality. Don't forget to draw a big smile!
