Your child will reflect on the term "beauty" and the things they are grateful for. They will read the book All the World by Liz Garton Scanlon and reflect on how focusing on the small and big things of beauty around them can benefit themselves and others.

Being present is essential for learning, so help your child become more aware of their body and surroundings through an activity called "mindful walking."

In this activity, your child will hear a story and practice mindful breathing. They will paint a picture that reminds them to bring mindfulness and kindness to their puppy mind.

In this social emotional learning activity, your child will play a mindful listening game and create a video or skit that teaches others about mindful listening.

Help your child build emotional awareness by creating a wheel full of pictures that make them feel a certain emotion.

Judgements assumptions about others can cause disconnect in relationships and communities. In this social emotional learning activity, kids will explore how to break through assumptions and create a colorful bracelet that represents unity.

In this activity, students will create a peace treaty as a class and come up with guidelines for how they will manage conflict.

Children reflect on ways they have cared for themselves, others, and the Earth before building a garden to share beauty with others in their community.
